Thistledown Hall

You arrive at Thistledown Hall the night the old owner is buried. The house is yours if you can find the deed by dawn — and the house rearranges itself every time the moon moves. You play by typing commands into a real parser, and above the text an ink illustration draws itself line by line for every room you enter and every object you examine. Nothing is pre-rendered: sixty-odd engravings, all of them stroke lists laid down by hand while you watch. Twenty-eight rooms, fourteen puzzles, four people, four endings, and two hundred and forty minutes of moon.

Brass & Brine

A Victorian diving-bell winch rescue. Lower a brass bell on a living pendulum cable, swing it through god-ray shafts and abyssal dark, and hoist drowning sailors home before the shared air runs out — nine storm shifts across three seas, then the endless Gale.

The Sitting Room

Islington, 1893. You are the sceptical guest at a darkened parlour table, and you may not leave it — you may only turn your head, lean, hold the circle of hands or break it, and put a question. Mrs Silence Marrow raps, tilts the table, breathes cold across your ankles and sends a luminous trumpet up into the dark, while the room works hard to tell you where to look. Nearly all of it is conjuring, and the game is catching it — the thread, the knee under the leaf, the boots below the curtain. Six sittings, nineteen staged wonders, a verdict on each: name the method, or call it unexplained.

Mudlark

London, 1890s. Twice a day the Thames pulls back and hands you two thousand years of lost property. Walk a hand-painted foreshore at low water, read the ground for a gleam or a dark crusted stain, and work it before the flood returns. Brush too fast and a pipe stem snaps; put iron on a Roman coin and you scar it forever. What you free comes up in the only true colour on a grey shore — name its era under the loupe while the mud is still on it and you earn its provenance, and the human accident that put it in the river. Eight tides, thirty-four researched finds, one cabinet museum.

INNER LEGION

Marshal one body's defenses across a hard winter of infections, seen entirely through a Victorian microscope. Deploy immune cells, steer them with chemotactic strokes, pin antibodies — and teach the body to remember.
