Hangman. Guess the hidden word one letter at a time; each wrong letter adds a piece to the gallows. Reveal the whole word before the drawing is finished. A category hint points the way.
Halma
The classic ferry-and-leap race, you (cyan) versus a target-seeking CPU (amber). Your four pieces start in the bottom-left camp; the CPU's in the top-right. Each turn a piece either **steps** to a neighbouring empty square (any of eight directions) or **jumps** over an adjacent piece — friend *or* foe — into the empty space beyond, **chaining** jumps to leap clear across the board. There are no captures; jumps are just springboards. The first player to move **all four** of their pieces into the opposite camp wins. A pure, elegant race of routing and chains.
Goofspiel
The Game of Pure Strategy (GOPS), you (cyan) versus the CPU (rose). Each of you holds a hand of cards numbered **1–13**. Thirteen "prize" cards are shuffled and turned up one at a time. Every round you both **secretly bid** one card; the higher bid wins the prize's value. **Ties carry the pot forward** to the next prize, so the stakes can pile up. Crucially, every bid card is **spent for good** — so do you blow your King on a fat prize, or bait the CPU into wasting theirs on a small one? Highest score after all thirteen prizes wins. Once the prizes are dealt there's no luck left, only mind-gam
