Keen Ice
Championship curling, from inside the hack. Throw a 19.96 kg granite stone 45 metres down pebbled ice and watch it break four feet in the last five, because the running band melts a film under itself and its front scratches pebble the back rides over. Sweep to steal three metres of run and hold the line; sweep one side to steer it. The whole World Curling rule book is here - the five-rock free guard zone, the hog line, the burn, the hammer, the blank end, the button measure - plus an eight-game season, a 24-drill practice range and an opponent that picks its shot by expected end value.

HURRY HARD
A weekend bonspiel, called like a television broadcast. Drag back to set weight and line, pick your handle, release — then rub the ice to sweep, because sweeping cuts the friction AND straightens the curl, and you only get to choose one. Four rounds against four rinks, real granite-on-granite collisions, guards, takeouts and an end-by-end scoreboard.

Hogline
Skip a curling rink through the Norrland Bonspiel, one stone at a time. Every shot is three decisions: call line and weight with a single drag off the hack, release, then sweep live as the stone travels — because sweeping really does cut friction, stretching the stone further while straightening the curl out of it. Guards, draws, takeouts, freezes, the free guard zone, and whether to blank an end to keep the hammer. Six rinks, each with its own idea of the game, on ice that is keen, heavy, swingy or frosted.
