Rosette Index is an original portrait-first optical investigation AVG. Seven semantic witnesses are registered across each illustrated archive plate. Carry one visible brass halftone lens through a 13×17 mechanical register: its actual spring position drives seven different integer screen frequencies, causing evidence to enter or leave the current impression. Release only when the three witnesses named by the dossier are active and the other four are silent.

Long floats retain their previous sector, amber lanes cool down, opposite queues can pair, and every collision is resolved from the same public occupancy model rendered on screen.
