Ordinary 6×6 draughts remains the grammar: men advance diagonally, crowns travel both ways, captures are mandatory, and a continuing jump keeps the same piece. The rupture is public and exact: every captured guard has a one-to-three stitch stride, and its capture cyclically pulls every surviving piece on the travelled diagonal.
