An original portrait illustrated AVG and rolling-shutter puzzle. Pull one visible brass slit downward through a live nocturnal scene. Every porter, hound, umbrella, bicycle, bird, taxi, nurse and case keeps moving horizontally; only the slit’s actual spring-lagged crossing freezes that row onto the silver plate. Each exposure must land inside its engraved testimony aperture.
